Meet Sharon
Founder of The Whole System Studio
I believe that wellbeing begins when we slow down and learn to listen to ourselves. In a world that often encourages us to keep doing more, my classes offer an opportunity to pause, move with intention, and reconnect with what your body needs. Whether you are joining me for Pilates, Yoga, Mindfulness or a wellbeing workshop, my aim is to create a welcoming space where you can feel supported, challenged at your own pace and leave feeling calmer, stronger, and more connected. For over thirteen years I have been helping people improve their physical and emotional wellbeing through movement and mindful practice. I have taught in community settings, hospitals, corporate organisations, and fitness studios, working with people of all ages and abilities. I love seeing the confidence that grows when people begin to trust their bodies again. Alongside my teaching, I am currently completing a master’s degree in Humanistic Psychotherapy. My studies have deepened my understanding of the relationship between the body, emotions, and the nervous system, enriching the way I support people in my classes and workshops. I have a particular interest in the wisdom of the body and how our physical experiences shape the way we feel, think, and relate to ourselves. This passion has led me to continue my professional development in body-oriented approaches. These trainings continue to inform my teaching, encouraging a compassionate, body-aware approach that honours each person's unique experience.

GUIDING PHILOSOPHY
My Philosophy
I do not believe wellbeing is about striving for perfection.
It is about creating small, sustainable practices that help us feel more at home in ourselves.
Movement builds strength.
Breath creates space.
Awareness brings choice.
When these come together, we create the conditions for lasting wellbeing.

Join a Class

I am honoured to have received recognition for my contribution to community wellbeing through national wellbeing awards and business award shortlisting.
While these achievements are meaningful, the greatest reward is seeing people leave a class standing taller, breathing more deeply, and feeling more connected to themselves.
I would love to welcome you to a class, workshop or retreat
and support you on your own wellbeing journey.
I invite you to slow down, listen to your body with curiosity,
and explore the connection between your body, mind, and nervous system.
